The Fifth Pillar
Study, for Arhatic Yoga practitioners
Arhatic Yoga rests on five pillars, and the fifth is study. This is the front door to a private library of the notes Tejas has taken across years of courses, retreats and acharya sessions — 43 volumes, sorted into a reading order. It does not open to everyone, and this page says plainly who it opens to and why.
Where study sits among the five pillars
Grand Master Choa Kok Sui described the practice as five pillars, not one. Three draw energy in. Two send it back out.
- Devotion and reverence. Conductivity. If you are receptive the energy reaches you; pride is resistance.
- Purification. Cleaning the physical, emotional and mental bodies so the incarnated soul can match the frequency of the higher soul.
- Meditation. Twin Hearts, Arhatic Dhyan, and the rest. The daily generator.
- Service and tithing. The energy has to be spent. This is how it leaves you.
- Study. The other exhalation. Not collecting information — building the causal body and the bridge to the higher soul.
Most practitioners are strong on two and three, honest about one and four, and quietly neglecting five. That is the gap this library exists for.
What Pillar 5 actually asks of you
Study in this sense has two modes, and the harder one is not the reading.
Inner study is watching your own patterns during ordinary life. Every conversation is a live test of the five virtues. This is the mode the teaching calls the most important, and no library can do it for you.
External study is difficult reading, done slowly. Difficult is the point. The instruction is to read complex material one petal at a time, and to convert each insight into an action within the week. An insight that never becomes an action feeds pride instead of the soul.
Pride is the specific failure mode of this pillar. Knowing and not doing. Knowing and feeling superior. The old rule holds: every unit of study is paid for with a unit of service.
What is inside
Forty-three volumes, around 337 chapters. Each shows its own chapter count and reading time before you open it.
| Lane | Volumes | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Canon | 11 | Notes drawn from GMCKS's own teaching — the journey, the pillars, the virtues, the four qualifications, the Sphinx. |
| Pillar 5 reference | 25 | The study shelf — theosophy, the subtle bodies, discipleship, meditation. Reference, never canon. |
| Workshop notes | 5 | Acharya and event sessions, and retreat notes. |
| Third-party sourced | 2 | The seven rays studies, labelled as third-party because that is what they are. |
The 25-volume reference shelf is sequenced into six tiers so you are not guessing where to start: orientation, the constitution of man, the path of discipleship, the love petal, advanced meditation and will, and comparative reading last. Where a reference book and a GMCKS instruction differ, the GMCKS instruction governs, and every reference volume carries that label on its own front page.
What is deliberately not in it
- GMCKS's printed lecture PDFs are not here, and neither are the Blue Triangle documents. Those are the Institute's material, not Tejas's notes, and publishing them — even to verified members — is not ours to decide. They are left out on purpose and will not be added.
- Restricted practice material has been cut. Several volumes carry a visible banner where a section was removed. That material is transmitted in course, under supervision, and it stays there. Please do not write in to ask for the cut sections. The answer is no, and the reason is your safety rather than secrecy.
- The third-party books themselves are not supplied. Much of that shelf is still in copyright. What you get is a careful digest and the reason it matters to your practice. Buy the books you want to go deeper into.
Who can get in
Access needs two conditions, in this order.
Your certificate is verified
Message us on WhatsApp with your Arhatic Yoga course level, the year you took it, and the centre or instructor who ran it. Tejas checks it himself — a person reading it, not a form validating it — and he will simply ask you if anything is unclear rather than guess.
Where you were initiated does not matter. What you have sat does.
Your access is opened
Once you are verified we will tell you what access involves and set it up for you. You will not be asked for anything before that point.
Payment on its own grants nothing. If you pay without being verified you get a refund, not a login. A card is not a certificate, and treating it as one would defeat the entire point of a gated library. The order is not negotiable.
The pages are not indexed, not listed and not linked publicly. Individual volumes are gated exactly as the library index is, so there is no back door through a shared link.
If you have not yet done Arhatic Yoga Preparatory, this is not the door for you. Start with the courses and come back.
Why I am giving my notes away
I took these notes for myself. They are the working record of what I understood while sitting in the courses, and I kept them because I forget things.
Sharing them is not generosity, it is the fourth pillar. Notes sitting in my own vault build nothing. The teaching is clear that study alone contracts a person, and that what you learn has to be spent on somebody. So this is where mine goes — to practitioners on the same path, who have done the same courses, and who will read them the way they were written: as one student's working notes, not as the teaching itself.
If something in there is wrong, tell me. I would rather correct it than defend it.
